The Chief of Deduako traditional area near Kuntanase in the Bosomtwe District, Nana AgyeiPanin II has called on government through the Ministry of Trade and Industry to use a cooking oil factory that has been existed at the area as the District's factory as part of the President's one district one factory policy for every district in the country is concerned.

Nana AgyeiPanin II who has released 30 acres of land for anyone who wants to operate developmental projects in his community told Peace News that, Vester Oil refinery Company could employ about one thousand people to reduce unemployment rate in the district and it's environs if the government considered and partner with this existing industry as the one district one Factory in Bosomtwe District.


He disclosed this when he led a delegation to a visit at the site.

 One leading member of the ruling New Patroitic Party for Bosomtwe Constituency, Lawyer Osei Bonsu told our reporter Rexkin Ohene Boateng that it is the Npp governments vision to clamp down on unemployment which leads to lots of social vices in Ghana thereby providing jobs for the youth hence the President's policy on one district one Factory.


He hinted that Bosomtwe District has not finally introduced what could be their best priority in the 1D1F, therefore he hope that the listening AkuffoAddo Administration will take into consideration.
