A Kumasi-based  broadcast journalist has revealed that he nearly lost his job for discussing Aisha Huang, a notorious Chinese expatriate who has engaged in illegal mining popularly known as galamsey.

Aisha,30, who's reported to be the kingpin in the galamsey business was arrested last weekend and has since been remanded into prison custody.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with oseikromonline.com, the host of 'Oman ba Pa' on Silver Fm recounted that a top security chief in the Ashanti region had complained ... "he was not happy with me pursuing her" adding that he was suspended indefinitely for gross insubordination on his part.

Oheneba further alleges that the yet to be identified top Security Chief not only got him suspended  but nearly succeeded in getting him out of the mic because of this same Chinese migrant.

"Look I was suspended indefinitely for discussing Aisha on my show. This police commander nearly succeeded in getting me out of radio" he recounted.

"Some of us are not cowards, I'll not be muzzled by any politician, we'll not allow these people to hide behind the cloak of politicians to destroy our forests. Nana have threatened me for speaking the truth but let me tell you I'm doing this job for God and country" ,Oheneba added.

He thus prayed the laws of land dealt with the issue accordingly.
