There is rich cultural display at the Manhyia Palace.Though the palace is mourning,the rich cultural display of the Ashanti Kingdom has flambouyantly been on display.
Burial rites began last Monday by the Manhyia Palace for the final internment of the the Queen of Ashanti Nana Serwa Afia Kobi Ampem who reigned for 37 years as the Queen Mother of the Kingdom.
The departed Queen is mother to the Royal Occupant of the Golden Stool HRH Otumfour Osei Tutu II.
